Universal Health Care Message to Americans From Canadian Doctors & Health Care Experts

Canadian Doctors for Medicare hosted a celebration of Medicare in Canada. The speakers included Roy Romanow, former Saskatchewan Premiere and Commissioner on Health Care in Canada. They tell Americans that Canadian universal health care works and encourage Americans to implement a single payer universal health care system. The video also features Dr. Steven Lewis a health policy and research consultant, Dr. Danielle Martin, Dr. Ryan Meili and Dr. Robert Woolard representing the Canadian Doctors for Medicare and Linda Silas President of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions.

Open your eyes. Someone make a profit in Canada. The taxes are really high. Many people us to afford health insurance. They also plan their finances. I think ten people out of my mind that high off their income tax return to the stupid shit they need. And that only people I know that trashy. I’m sure theres many more. They can spend the way they want. But oil for me dont healthcare negligence after your return in a pool.

Universal Healthcare is what we need, now insurance companies instead of paying for health care to those who used the money to fight against the reform of human health care. This is nonsense.

Well, if 45,000 people in the United States die each year because they had no health insurance, I have more than one system of “socialist ‘that provides care for all. For profit health insurance to America just does not work, what they do about care is profit. Savings for a pay system in America is great. We will save billions of dollars!

A slight improvement in our current hc is a blessing, but in the end UHC is what is needed. Patients in Canada with life threatening illnesses are given priority. Nurses in Canada, check your pulse or purse NOT your credit card.

As for private competition improve care. Not help if the Americans can buy more coverage across state lines (including some guidelines if necessary)? I heard a doctor say that Americans are better insurance if every American could get a plan that covers their particular needs as opposed to having to pay for Coverages they should not really their plans.

A large slice of the 300 factories do not have free health care (ie rich), and do not forget guest workers and illegal immigrants who are not citizens of this country, which is still treated in our hospitals for free still. But I have a question for you, how a greedy private security providers working for us? We spend more than any other country in hc and we still have much safer. Problems with this picture. However, no UHC countries are healthier and longer life.

How a single pay system work for 300 million Americans? Do not be an exhaustion of U. S gov’t the only provider of insurance for many people? I think as a paying be better for smaller countries to man. Size of America requires a better multipayer system.

@ Firsttakemanhattan current Canadian tax burden is similar to U.S. and Canadian middle class is definitely needed more income. Not to mention tax property in some cases as 5 times in our tax rate for doctors pronës.Sa family, in fact in about 2006 U. S. Canada took the number of family doctors per person according to OECD – so we get more doctors familje.Tani Canadians some of the highest cases of major infectious diseases that do not. . . . . . . . . .

@ Firsttakemanhattan Thanks for ur honesty. Health scare BUT is not the law in America for health care. . it is about MAIN control in many parts of our lives and freedom involved. . Internet control, control of radio shows to talk, gun rights himself, medical information provided on our IRS, hooks to link health care to tap our retirements. . and the and. . . WE WANT reform, but it is not BS!
